J.P.I. Hosts Festival in Houston area to Kick off the Upcoming Season:
SMOLAN, KAN. (February 25, 2010) - - Jeremy Petty Inc. is excited about the opportunity to come to the Houston area, and both interact with all of our Texas fans, as well as put on a show for those who haven’t had the opportunity to experience NASCAR in person.
The J.P.I. Race team will kick off the season next on March 27th in the Houston, Texas area. The festival will be hosted by J.P.I in efforts to raise money for “The Great Final Harvest Ministries,” and other non-profit organizations (throughout the Houston metropolitan area) is open to all adults, kids, community members, and businesses. Members of the J.P.I. Race team will be available at the event, showcasing Petty’s racecar. Jeremy Petty will also be making a special in-person appearance for conversation and autographs. There will also be appearances by former and current Major League Baseball players! In addition to getting the opportunity to meet and greet former and current NASCAR and MLB athletes, the event will include: bar-b-que, Racing Simulator Games (by the Sim Factory and Inviron Gaming Systems), actual racecars, fun and games for all the kids, a concert, and a fireworks show!
Driver Jeremy Petty is optimistic about the partnership with the ministry and the opportunity it will present for J.P.I. to continue to work with youth, striving to be strong Christian leaders in our great nation!
“I think it’s a good fit. I’ve coached at the Jr. High level at a school in my hometown for the past 10 years and I am no stranger to working with kids,” Petty said. “I look forward to being able to use my racing to help all of God’s children out.”
